Construction

Steel grating is made from mild steel or aluminium formed by a special mechanically press locked process that eliminates any welding therefore avoiding any weld stress problems that may occur with other designs.

The load bearing bars can be 20mm,25mm,32mm,40mm and 50mm(3mm/5mm thick)

They are spaced 19mm,30mm or 40mm apart with twisted cross support bars 100mm apart depending on load bearing requirements.

If unsure as to the load bearing characteristics required consultation should be made with an engineer finish.

Steel grating is either natural colour or hot dipped galvanized to give a hygienic and clean,maintenance-free and bright finish perfect or use in corrosive atmospheres or coastal applications.
